Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas nailed its post-Covid-19 return to cruising. The cruise line started sailing again in June 2021 and various ships have been brought back into service since. This past week, their ship Allure of the Seas proved to me that it is ready to return to business as usual and to WOW its guests.
As the coronavirus pandemic quickly spread around the world, countries closed borders, many people quickly became ill and died, and businesses and economies came to a standstill. One of the hardest-hit industries was the cruise industry. All river and ocean cruise lines eventually ceased operations. With the COVID 19 virus continuing to spread throughout the United States and other parts of the world, the resumption of cruise operations is in limbo, even as states and countries try to restart their economies. This article addresses the question of when will cruise lines start sailing again.
